Signing of a LOU with the Department of Literacy and Non-Formal Education Sindh (DLNFE)

 Celebrating a significant milestone as Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI) signs an LoU with the Department of Literacy and Non-Formal Education Sindh (DLNFE) to expand access to education for out-of-school children. With support from READ Foundation UK and UNICEF Pakistan, this collaboration advances inclusive and equitable learning opportunities across the province. 

Serving with Dignity This Ramadan

 Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI) served families in need with dignity during Ramadan, providing essential food support to vulnerable households. With the support of Zakat Foundation of America Pakistan, this effort reflects a strong and growing partnership committed to reaching underserved communities with compassion, accountability, and care during the holy month. 

SCI Ramadan Drive Featured on National TV

 Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI)’s Ramadan Food Package Distribution was featured on Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), highlighting its impact in supporting vulnerable families. With the generous support of Zakat Foundation of America, SCI provided essential food assistance during Ramadan through a community-driven effort rooted in dignity, compassion, and accountability. 

SCI Completes 3rd Ramadan Food Drive

 SCI completed its 3rd Ramadan Food Distribution Drive with support from Zakat Foundation of America Pakistan, reaching vulnerable families with essential food packages. With over 100 participants, the drive reflected a strong collective commitment to supporting communities in need during Ramadan. 

Empowering Women Through Skills and Enterprise

 SCI is empowering women and girls through market-based skills training, micro-enterprise development, and market linkages that support sustainable livelihoods. This approach strengthens financial independence and enables women to contribute meaningfully to their families and communities, driving more resilient and inclusive societies. 

SCI Conducts Second Ramadan Food Drive

 Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI) successfully conducted its second Ramadan Food Drive, providing essential food packages to 200 families, including widows and other marginalized households. With the support of Zakat Foundation of America Pakistan, this effort reflects a growing partnership committed to reaching vulnerable communities with dignity and care during Ramadan. 

DELIVERING FOOD PACKS WITH DIGNITY AND CARE

 Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI), with support from Zakat Foundation of America - Pakistan, distributed the first batch of Ramadan Food Packs to vulnerable families. Our volunteers prepared and delivered packages with care, prioritizing underserved communities and ensuring transparency from procurement to distribution so families can observe Ramadan with dignity, compassion, and peace of mind.

WINTER RELIEF PROGRAM FOR TRANSGENDER

Social Cooperation Initiative, in partnership with the Ministry of Human Rights Pakistan and with the generous support of Zakat Foundation of America, distributed Winter Relief Packages among transgender individuals and vulnerable transgender-led households. The winter relief package included warm clothing, quilts, blankets, and essential supplies to help protect beneficiaries from the harsh winter conditions.


WINTER RELIEF PROGRAM FOR WIDOW LED FAMILIES

 Social Cooperation Initiative - SCI , with the generous support of  Zakat Foundation of America, distributed Winter Relief Packages among widow-led families. A significant number of widows and their families benefited from this initiative. The winter relief package included warm clothing, quilts, blankets, and essential items for children to help them cope with the harsh winter season.

 Social Cooperation Initiative (SCI), in collaboration with Zakat Foundation of America Pakistan, distributed winter relief packages to homeless and vulnerable individuals in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, ensuring warmth, dignity, and care during the harsh winter months. This joint effort reflects our shared commitment to humanitarian response, compassion, and community-centered action for those most in need. 

WINTER RELIEF PROGRAM 2026

 Social Cooperation Initiative - SCI , in collaboration with Zakat Foundation of America, distributed winter relief packages among women and children residing at the Family Protection and Rehabilitation Center for Women, H-8, Islamabad, which operates under the Ministry of Human Rights  Government of Pakistan. 

SCI Documentary 2025

 This video highlights SCI’s efforts throughout 2025 to increase girls’ school enrollment, strengthen the quality of education, empower adolescent girls with functional, market-based skills, and support community livelihoods through enterprise development. It also showcases SCI’s campaigns to end early child marriage and promote universal birth registration.
